forest of dean redneck 11,668
Kids are not headstrong now, their just not disciplined enough, sometimes due to the fact if you barely raise your voice to them, some interfering soft twat will say your abusing them. I can see clipos point but then he's only asking for advice,it's not something he can ask his parents as they never went through the techno age. So it's either some mates/family friends or if he wants to keep the fact he's having a problem with a kid off the local radar, he would ask on his favourite website?. None of my kids got phones eldest has had 2 he broke them, same as other 2 that had cheap phones. Eldest had £500 laptop for 16 birthday in feb by march he had fried the motherboard !hes not getting another as he won't look after it.
forest of dean redneck 11,668
I forgot say missus let eldest have a fb account,I disagreed at time saying he's special needs and immature ,he shouldn't have one. It brought nothing but hassle ,he changed passwords straight away so she couldn't get in,had about 3 email address running, and then started talking shite and getting in conflict with other kids. One mother whose sons in his special group at school made her son delete him, in end I think missus shut it down ,I washed my hands of the affair ,as she would always pull the well he's my son shit, The joys of step kids aye.
clipo 871
im sorry before i start, BUT it does make me laugh that the guys asking for help over kids using a social network site ON a social notwork site......... f**k me if you need to ask for help about the internet on the internet then your f****d before you even start surely........ this site is just like facebook, its exactly the same and the only difference is its a hunting site but the same shite is posted on here as on there........the only difference is its posted on a different web page....... sorry if i sound a kunt but tbh if you need to ask for advice on the internet about your kids using the internet then theres some serious issues that need addressing..... go back to old school methods and take it away from them............ I think what your saying is quite offensive, that there an issue with the guys parenting, I don't think that's the case I think he's just wondering who else is going through the same. It's not like he's on here as much as you i no it sounded harsh thats why i said sorry twice while saying it!!! but i guess your right its not just him having problems its probably every household in the country nowadays going through similar circumstances.........like others have said tho make the kids earn there online time or just simply say no and take it off them........if its affecting the grades and therefore their future then it needs to sorted sharpish......... South hams hunter 8,924
My daughters 2 and a half and we have the trouble that all she wants to do is play on a tablet or a phone and at her mothers has her own tablet. I won't have it when she's with me unless its a long drive or its raining and if she's on technology its games I've downloaded and she doesn't get to watch her DVDs at the same time but it is hard especially when you have someone doing the opposite for an easy lazy life
