EDDIE B 3,159
Lads have any of you made your own bodygrip mounts, and if so, what are the dimentions you use for them? Quote Link to post
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Eddie; I've seen all manner of ways used. Personally, I've just made a load of tunnels up and am using a bit of baton nailed to the floor. I don't know the size. But, it's just big enough that the set jaws slot down onto it. Does that make sense? I believe people use four nails in a similar fashion. Quote Link to post
EDDIE B 3,159
Yea understand Pete, and I'm sure it works as good as any other method! Was thinking more on the lines of the bracket type mainly due to the fact that I have a piece of tin in the shed I could make use of, and they don't look very complicated to make! Also, if I made up a bunch of them, they'd be handy to store e.t.c! Quote Link to post
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Aha. Well, I have some commercial, welded rod supports here. But, that doesn't sound like what you're up to either. Quote Link to post
EDDIE B 3,159
No something more on the lines of those killer clips that can be got on line! Suppose I could buy a couple, and just copy them! Quote Link to post

Matt 160
If you can get hold of a copy of 'Bodygripper Basics' (no, it's not a nineties porn classic ) I think Glen Waters goes through various cost effective options for mounting bodygrippers... If I remember correctly, he advises using the steel banding commonly used to strap up pallets to make cheap and simple killer clips. Someone better informed on the use of BG traps may remember better than me... Quote Link to post
