Hi,

I believe feather pecking is a behavior thing, can start off as just a few pecks here and there, and can lead onto vent pecking/canibalism.

Apart from last resort culling, what other tips do folks have ? Could it also be something lacking in the diet ?

Thoughts please

Hi chicken feather pecking normally happens when birds are over crowded or confined to small places...... Once blood is drawed they keep going and going.... After a lot of experimenting found the best remedy to be boild rice and rice pudding... Why this works I donno but it does!... Try it for your self.... ATB uk
