smithie 2,443
Hope liverpool choke on the last day and all you scouse fans get back in your woodwork ..... On a serious note they have played brilliant this season sterling henderson suarez courtinio and the big man stevie g have all been out standingand skrtel......... sterling young player of the year........ suarez golden boot....... gerrard player of the year........ Rodgers manager of the year........ Not kean on skrtel think he's pish at the back liability. skrtel is good but does rash things. 2 games ago he punched the ball out of the area and its things like this that let him down. you just never know whats next.. liverpool will be looking at the defence come the transfer window.. and next season will be better at the back.. I would expect Toure, Sakho, Kelly and Flanagan to stay. Coates will certainly leave. Cissokho will go after his loan as will Moses . Coady, Robinson, Wisdom, Ilori, McLaughlin, Suso or Sama are all out to prove a point to the manager. I think one or perhaps two of Enrique, Johnson, Agger and Skrtel may well leave.Reina wont return and we will climb back on to our perch................The End. oneredtrim 148
Id love to see Gerrard pick the title up he,s everything thats good about English football......it would be a big statement that speed, commitment and passion still has a place in world football.Yeah it is good.Thing is they ain't spent the big money to competeThat's what I like bout Everton and Southampton this season as well. They're 3rd in the list of money spent on players over the past 5 years.. When you take sales into account they drop a few places but don't be deceived into thinking they are where they are today by spending peanuts! They ain't spent anything like city or chelsea Did you include the 200 and odd £mill of non football generated money needed to stop them going under

I can see why arsne wenger has been in a job past 20 years. When you look at that he does an amazing job

I can see why arsne wenger has been in a job past 20 years. When you look at that he does an amazing job The media is clever with the spin-up/down, wonder why they never mentioned no outfield english players the other night v west ham (aganda?) and thier keeping very stum about the entire playing staff and rents from developments being shifted into off-shoure accounts. When they were faltering a bit in the early 1990's, pre-Wenger, Danny Fiszman pumped in £50m,which is said by financial experts to be worth the equivalent of 10 times that in today's transfer values. That enabled them to treble Tony Adams' contract to fend off interest from the rags and funded the buying spree that bought Bergkamp, Platt, Petit, Overmars,, Vieira etc. And that bought (not brought) success and got them extra revenue from the CL which enabled them to stay in the top 4 though without achieving very much recently. Maybe if they spend in the summer. Watched them against Everton today. They looked like they could have played for a week and not scored. First chance Rooney missed was in the 87 min. They are just so flat, lack pace. Rooney is the forward playing on his own. He needs drop back to his own half to receive the baw at his feet. Then he's running with ball and got no one push the ball through to. It just looks so un organised and no pace and urgency on the counter attacks.
