secretagentmole 1,701
I have an HW100 KT in .22, very accurate gun, lovely trigger, it was good out of the box and 3 years later it still is good. Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,145
ive just got back from shopping trip. ive got a kt100 in .177 i asked the chap in the shop to give me a decent scope and the ideal pellets for the gun. hes given a hawke hd ir m'dot 4-12 X 50 scope along with h&n field target trophy pellets. does this seem like a decent enough set up for the gun? i am buzzing and will be going out a.s.a.p for a practice. treecreeper 1,136
Is it mildot or half mildot? Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,145
Is it mildot or half mildot? it dont say. the finer cross in the middle iluminates if that makes sense. ive seen some which just have a dot in the centre of the cross that iluminates my scope dont. it just says mil dot AO IR on the box it iluminates in both green and red. the model number is hk3019 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
I think the sport hd only comes with mildot or 30/30 ? Its a decent scope . You could do better tho but it will do for now. The pellets should be spot on if not try air arms or jsb exact Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
Like skot says will be ok but the ret might be abit thick. I shoot exacts in mine, I get a sleeve at a time so they are all the same batch and works out cheaper. Quote Link to post
Daz39 962
The 100KT is nearly, very nearly as good as the 100T haha. I get 120 shots from mine in .177 Quote Link to post
risingfriend 1,042
Nice one mate scope should be more than addequate for airgun ranges. i would try jsb or aa field if the h&n dont group well. the hw100 should group under a uk 5pence at 45yards with ease. they are tack drivers when matched to the correct pellet Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,145
ive found those pellets do tend to drift off from time to time so i will try some others in the future. another question should the gun have hw 100kt writen on it any where as there are alot of similiar looking models. the gun is brand fire new its got hw100kt on the receipt and on the box but its not written on the gun hes give me. the stock is both left and right handed aswell. its the thumb hole stock came with 2 14 shot mags 3 different adaptors and had a 190bar in it. just been out and head shot 2 lovely rabbits missed a pigeon aimed on the crop and the pellet didnt go any where near the bird. treecreeper 1,136
no it will just say hw100 on the action as they are all the same. Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,145
no it will just say hw100 on the action as they are all the same. thanks for your help. its bloody nice gun a little heavier than i thought after using my bsa, however i much prefer the hw100 all ready. the trigger on the gun is very nice to use, its alot quieter and so much better to use once i have got use to the gun i know i wont be disappointed. 1 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
I was using a mates rapid other week and it was ok but then I picked up my hw100 again and to me it felt a lot better. nowt wrong with the rapid.. it seemed slightly louder than my 100 and the trigger wasn't as nice but still a great rifle. but deffo preferred my hw100kt so you think the hw is better than the bsa? villaman 9,983
Some do call the full length hw sporter gun No the full length is the Rifle, the shorter length is the Carbine (or Karbine). Sporter is to do with stocks. The only way a Sporter can be a Sporter in a Thumbhole stock is if someone has put the action into a non HW thumbhole stock, say a CS or GinB. Then it is just an HW100 in a thumbhole stock I suppose, seeing as it is not an official T stock. I know the full length one is a rifle but some do call it sporter , I have heard people say it and I have put them right Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
some people call a bacon butty a bacon sarnie. or a bacon roll. or a bacon cob. LOL its the same thing but different haha Quote Link to post
