forest of dean redneck 11,614
Brahma bantam cockerel has a soft crow not piercing, and their nearly size of a Warren hen,but they suffer with leg feathers getting muddy and suseptiable to scaly leg. My serama bantam cockerel sounds like someone strangling a bird,my nosy neighbour remarked that one chicken made a funny sound.
welshgamecock 6
Large Indian Game tend to be too lazy to crow much but can make a usefull cross if you are up to eating any surplus males. also very docile
Shamo 319
'Cornish Game' (Indian Game) are not too bad for noise, good meat, nice Eggs, hardy and live a long life. There are things you can do to help with noise, just depends how tolerant your neighbours are. The biggest thing is communication, work with them and let them see you are doing your best. Remember there has to be a limit too, don't take the mick with numbers. Crumbs I have mellowed!....said it before though, a clever man learns from others mistakes.
