Outlaw Pete 2,224
Jake; I once had a Computer Programmer sign mine. Granted, it may have helped that he had hand gun chits of his own at the time. But, yeah; Anyone in a decent position. Quote Link to post

Bunny Boiler 177
Anyone of respectable position within the community. Now, while this is a bit conspicuous, it means anyone who would pass a simple police check. I.e, dont ask you're local crack dealer. Anyone who is non related and has known you 2-3+ years that is a decent guy/gal will do. Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
The key elements Jake are; They must have known you personally for at least two years and, They hold a position of authority and/or responsibility. A serving police officer/police staff can't sign it and neither can your doctor unless you know him personally. I know Doctors do sign them but the legislation quite clearly says known personally which isn't true for most people. Your boss at work is a good bet, or if you know any lawyers, teachers, company owners/directors etc A relative can sign provided they are not close or immediate family. I.e. your third cousin who's a business owner could but your aunt couldn't. Quote Link to post
