If you can't see at least one fault in your dog then your lying to yourself ..........

Thats the craic fellahs... We all want genuine good hearted dogs that can provide us with sport, of course we do,.but...   Years ago,..(many fecking years ago... ) I was one of the world's worst

This thread has touched on a lot of points, I got into lurchers because I got out of Collies'n Sheep via a bad decision, I got into Beardies via disillusionment with some Borders all some 30 odd year

Right gaz these people that you have been out with must be wondering is it them you have been saying you wouldnt kennel there dogs or even saying there shite have you put them out thete misery and told them your opinion ?

They must be wondering? Lol.

I know it's a strange concept for some people to get their heads around. But SOME lurcher lads don't frequent this forum.

I know. Bizarre isn't it. I also used to think every hunter in the world was on here

I've found my standards are not as high as they were when I was younger, my dogs have became more of a companion than a tool for a job. The enjoyment is still there but the need to "create" a world beater isn't, we all strive for better in life and dogs are no different and I think the difference is how you go about it, some people swap and change looking for that "super dog" and get no where while others will stick with dogs and use that as a learning curve.

We're all different and that is why people have different standards imo.
