Ocset 91
good ole kranky lol never let the truth get in way ehhh, fact is you know nowt about me just like the masses lol you still tryin to threaten folk with your brother an his mates? lol And you know loads about me do you? PMing people saying that I stack shelves in Tescos and don't have a dog. That's a snidey thing to do. So I know that you're a snide. And it is nowhere near the truth so I know that you're a liar. So in actual fact I know plenty about you. Lol!! Do you want to deny it and then those that you PM'd can call you a liar too. I don't go bitching about via PM, I call people out to their face. You're a liar because you lied about me and you're a snide because you did it behind my back. Those are facts and you can't argue with science. Quote Link to post
SirRichardCecil 70
Oscet you seem very bitter and full of pent up aggression do you take counselling for these problems? Quote Link to post
Hot Meat 3,109
You wanna get into this lol I can tell you exactly who was sending those pm,s lol and I'm sure he will admit it. Difference was I pm?do you an asked if it was true, I never called you a liar off it lol so who did I pm slagging you off?? Cos I know who pmd me slagging you. Only person I asked about it was you, so it wasn't me that was saying it lol gee you 1 guess as to who was sent me it, I got nowt to hid kranky and an inbox full that's says so lol Quote Link to post
DeerhoundLurcherMan 997
But I don't need a weatherman to tell me it's pissing down mate Neither do i when i know the long range weatherman could well be wrong.. I can't believe you've actually put into words that you need to see a dog work for a whole season to know it's shite. Some of you veterans treat us young lads like the dog game is rocket science and we shouldn't even be slipping a dog until we've spent 10 seasons watching and learning. Let alone have an opinion on a dog. Have them told gas, lol. Them old feckers are to stuck in their old ways....... 1 Quote Link to post

Tozer 385
Ive been in and around lurchers, of one type or another, for a year and a few more, one thing I learned a while ago was that there is a jukel or two about that will suit everyones standards. The folk who set their standards lower down the scale often appreciate the dog,the catch and the reason for being out in the field more, they get far more satisfaction and reward from the day than the lads who want a mutt that can run a yard faster and longer and catch more than their internet heroes.Saying that,i can never understand the need or purpose in breeding from dogs that would be average in any kennel, far better to source proper bred stock, then work it to whatever standard suits, than breed from average, that will never make the grade in a more testing kennel, again though, the lads and lasses that own, train, feed and work the dog should answer to none, but themselves. Bob on mate, it is what you make of it Quote Link to post

Tozer 385
It's a dog at the end of the day, every dog trainer I have met talks about training the owner not the dog first. Quote Link to post
Saluki246 1,053
Bang on RAW much rather catch 10 a few times than 50 once and certainly if I was in it for numbers id might aswell give up !! My uncle brought me up to just enjoy being out in the fresh air watching dogs do what they were bred to do !! There's no greater feeling that hunting all morning then having feet up watching tv with the same mutt stretched out next to that's what it all about !! Thats the craic fellahs... We all want genuine good hearted dogs that can provide us with sport, of course we do,.but... Years ago,..(many fecking years ago... ) I was one of the world's worst for pushing dogs, to kill more and more,..and more...! I could not bear to hear about, how well another guy was doing, or how fecking great, his fecking super fecking dog was,.. It used to boil my piss,...it used to break my heart,..and I was fast becoming,..a jealous wee feckwit.... I set ridiculously high,..virtualy impossible standards for myself (and anyone else who I hung out with) As I grew older,..and hopefully a bit wiser,..I began to realise the futility of it all,..but not before it fecking near killed me off trying to live up,.. to my own personal hype.. Then,..something happened,... and I changed,..almost overnight... Nowadays I feel sorry for all the poor old Jukels that I trash talked ,..and I feel ashamed for those that I quickly passed on,..or buried,.... simply because they were not up to my standards... Mercifuly,..'I am not in competition with myself any longer...' Obviously,.this is a stage in a mans life that takes time to reach,..sadly,..some never actualy reach it,.. and they are destined to live out their lives, in a perpetual state of worrying the feck about, what others might think of them,..and their dawgs.. They cook their brains,.. and put fecking years on themselves..! I've seen it a hundred times and it nearly always ends in tears.... All this talk of dogs, that are shite,..crap, garbage, etc,...almost as though their owners lives depended upon the canine's ability to catch a chosen quarry...when in fact,.90% of hunting men,.hunt for fun, pleasure and recreation,...and certainly not for the gold coin... Honestly, I sometimes ask myself,.. just like dear old Alfie,.." What's it all about".... Quote Link to post
Hixxy1979 18
My dog Is no super star and is only learning like myself. (I feel he's overtaken me) he never disappoints me though not to say he's a little clumsy and rarely gets his quarry as a beginner his effort always makes me proud. Some times he looks upon me as the failure for not finding him opportunities to shine. He's only 18 months and only has me too impress and he does that for sure. He shows signs of being useful possibly not a world beater though! Quote Link to post
