Andy83 8
I am using a LED Lenser p7 for some lamping. The torch itself without filters has a good range to its beam. I recently got a filter kit for it and straight away put in the red filter, now this has limited its range down. The filters are a ball ache to change so im being lazy and rather than trying it thought id ask here. So my question is will one the other filters give more range with the beam? Thanks
The one 8,496
Maybe the amber one gives nearly as much range as the white but in general putting any filter on will reduce the range
the big chief 3,099
Amber will give you more range red will reduce by half not used the blue so can't really comment on that

mrpheasant 0
Like the above, amber is your best bet as ive found, red, green and blue tend to reduce the range.
