banner man 588 Posted March 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 22, 2014 Good dog dog will be ran for as long as possible and have a good kill rate behind it id say it a good dog if there still knocking big numbers over the wrong side of 5 all depening on wat land there running of course bannerman wat would yourself call top class for this country noing how tricky it is for dogs in my opinion brendy 1 of the main things you need is early pace because as you know the minute the hare gets up he gone for a gate or headge so you need that hare turned straight away for it to become a good hunt, so early pace, good in cover, tight turning, and good killer.. 1 Quote Link to post

Black123 120 Posted March 22, 2014 Report Share Posted March 22, 2014 more or less the same as captain said some dogs don't make 3 4 5 seasons can make 2 and be very good if there winter hares and done all type land the hares not going 2 get much better in the next 2 year or so I haven't seen much diferent in hares in last few years to now I would be happy enough to breed of a 2 season bitch if done what I want in a dog only my opinion Quote Link to post
