You can't get a Beatles song on things like spotify, all owned by Jacko's estate, made millions out of it..... it's funny really he's kicking off about a few clothes, but lost the rights to all of his songs

i thought that after a certain time royalties dont have to be paid at all? wasnt cliff richard kicking off about it a couple of years ago cos some of his awful music was due to be 50 years old or something and he would stop getting paid for it?

Apparently, copyright lasts for 70 years now, but royalties are paid forever, being handed down to relatives when you die.

No but films, music, it's all entertainment. I still watch films I enjoyed when I was a lad, music etc. just cos something is so many years ago, doesn't mean you all of a sudden dislike it.
