pie-eater 377
Rings work so well on purse nets that I don't see the need to try sliders. I make my poke nets with rings as well. Quote Link to post

Am not been funny mate but untill youve tryed um dont knock um they work well. You put a purse net with slider on in your hand and a ringed purse net and let them purse an see which purses the quickest. Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
When did I knock sliders? If youre dropping the ring and slider the slider probably will drop faster but in the field the net purses with the force of the rabbit hitting the net so I cant see it making a noticeable difference. bobcullen79 1,495
Ive got maybe 10 pokes with sliders on, and I genuinely think they slide faster than rings. On a big double pegged net any way. Quote Link to post
northern lad 2,292
I use both, but prefer the rings.....but then again theres rings and theres RINGS...the heavy chrome ones I use off Agouti are slick as feck and definetly faster than the sliders 2 Quote Link to post
