secretagentmole 1,701
Just google BSA Lightning problems (or BSA Lightening problems)! The Theoben is better built, more reliable and a tastier gun to look at! Edited March 21, 2014 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
if both guns a functioning correctly the theoben has to be favorite .Not sure how hard it would be to fix an old theoben but I would think it would be easier than fixing a new bsa .I dont know what a fenman is like but I know lightnings are not to good and a rapid 7 is a nice gun . shergar 42
aye up the new bsa lightning's are a pile of crap , a friend had one and after it smashed a scope the safety catch broke , sent it back and got another and it kept smashing the stock bolts at the fore end so sent that one back and got another same thing again , having said that I have had one for over 16 years and not had a problem but the recoil on the new guns compared to my old one is horrendous leave well alone , as for the theoben don't know much about em and if parts are easily available . personally I would get a hw95 Quote Link to post
