Tiercel 6,986
I have shot a shotgun for over 45 years and I learnt how to stand to get the best out of the gun. I have tried that stance with a catapult and it does not make a lot of differance I still cannot hit what I am aiming at consistently. You people who are good shots with a catapult do you have a particular stance that you use? And do you find your accuracy alters if you change your stance? atomlab 104
@ tiercel what size groups you gettin?
Tiercel 6,986
I don't get groups as such, I have tried to be consistant where I place the catapult and the pouch and know that consistanvy helps with any type of shooting but it is not working for me. @12yards I can hit a coke can maybe 6 or 7 times out of 10 the best I have done is 8 and the worst is 2 I really am a crap shot with a catapult. The funny thing is I am good shot with a rifle or shotgun so it does bug me a little that I just cannot work out how to use it. TC
Tiercel 6,986
Theoretically if you hold the side grip on the catapult and draw a line with the bands between you eye and the target you should be able to be on vertical line for the target with a highering and lowering of your pouch hand for the horizontal plane. but it just does not work for me. atomlab 104
it could be that your holding the pouch slightly different . are you gripping the ammo or fingers in front of the ammo then you shoot? if you grip the ammo you get a much cleaner release or it could be that your slightly tilting your head left /right causing different poi
