The one 8,505
Too early for kits just now mate . as said putting a kit in with a older ferret it will get dragged from pillar to post , but putting it in with a hob it might get raped better to separate them till kits are of a size to look after them selves 1 Quote Link to post
Nick3439 83
Same apply to a neutered hob? Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,533
Same apply to a neutered hob? I've seen a castrated hob dragging Jill's round trying to mate them so I'd imagine he would have been a sod with other hobs and kits like an unneutered hob. Quote Link to post
ruggers13 268
cheers for the advise best start making a new cage before getting another then Quote Link to post
The one 8,505
Same apply to a neutered hob? You wouldn't think a neutered hob would do as as they have no testes they shouldn't produce the hormones Quote Link to post
ruggers13 268
its like rabbits my daughter has two male n female even though hes neutered when there in the run he trys fcuking her ive never seen it with ferrets but it would probably be more aggressive Quote Link to post
wabbit slayer 16
I have a hob ferret going free if you want him, Ive had it a few months and he seems fine. (currently in with my other older hob) Only reason for getting rid of him is that I have two other hobs and two jills so no need for any more. I found him while I was out hunting one day, he was dragging a rabbit out of its burrow so he must have got away from his owner while out ferreting. Quote Link to post
