Bosun11 537
Really, really sad news for me... I've met Clarissa a good few times now, drank with her, taken her beloved snuff with her and what a wonderful lady she was.... One of the great, true champions of hunting and the countryside with a no nonsense down to earth attitude. A wonderful woman, who one day could be hunting with royalty and the next ratting with the riff raff. There was no class with that woman, just a pure love of the British countryside and its hunting heritage. RIP Clarissa, you did far more than most....

spade 224
RIP Gone to the elyssian fields no doubt. Through her life she had it all, lost it all and got it back again, a true character who will be sadly missed.
Brigzy 1,298
When hunting became hated by all in the political and media elite, she stuck to her guns, (parden the pun), and continued to be a true supporter of all field sports, coursing in particular, and even went to court to defend her right to hare course. A grand woman .
