Darkie69 76 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 if it's any consolation I use my rack sack that i use when out and about to rest my hand on, accuracy is far better than using a bi-pod when static shooting. also gives me the advantage of not carrying around a shooting cushion as well Quote Link to post
andy draper 1 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 They are fine for pcp use but no good for springers not 100% sure of the technical side of it,it's something to do with the "recoil" being faster than the pellet leaving the barrel so the bipod gets this force transferred to it therefore kicking the barrel and losing your accuracy.I have seen some guns with the plastic looking barrel fitted rest/bipod as opposed to the stock mounted one but have no idea if these are any good,I would guess not.
