scothunter 12,609
Ok my wifi router is crap. No joy from the provider , if I'm not in direct line I lose wifi. No chance of working in another room. So I rigged up an old talk talk router. No internet access but the wifi was miles better. So I'm guessing I can't use that, but my question is can I go buy a router from the shop? Know I shouldn't need to bit they don't seem to be any help.

willum 89
Thnicolour are okay but yes you can go buy any router to get on the net netgear are easy to set up just use the set up wizard when installing them can't see how they can up the wifi strength as they work on a set mghz frequency they would have to physically take apart and replace the transponder to improve the strength of the signal
