ponte 222
Lucy was the matriarch of out team and the reason why we were so successful She found dozens of foxes for us, because we run her loose, to work vast areas of bramble etc She hunted fox relentless, they had no option but to go to ground, lots of place were tight and she couldn't get in, ( to her frustration ) just her back end showing, If she did get in then the fox would normally be killed underground. 2 Quote Link to post

NEWSBOY 306
another pic great pic of my bob and lucy, bob was young there, he was hard type, very rough with fox, his mother had more style, she once hunted a fox out of some cover, ran it in 2 a factory carpark and killed it with the factory workers stood around her then she dragged it to the fence to me she could jump 5 bar gates with ease, both great pets when not working also, rip bob an lucy Quote Link to post
ponte 222
NEWSBOYS Lucy and her son bob, PRE BAN Both excellent workers, Bob worried me, whenever he went to ground.... There was just a series of bumps and shuffles, never giving an inch Personally I always worried wether the deben bleep was working properly and checked and double checked when ever the collar was put on bob, i could not take the risk of it failing when it was on him Crawling about ear to the ground trying to get a mark happened often when the box packed in, normally we found our other terriers being worked, baying, Old bob never bothered baying..!! Privately I knew what was going to happen to bob..... Newsboy called one evening, bob had been killed to ground. 1 Quote Link to post
