volpe 21
update I've cut the tealers off and added a new one 2 inches longer it now sits exactly how I want it, they must have made a mistake when they made them up and made them too short, all they would have caught in my opinion would have been cubs if you were lucky or Badgers going down the tramline if your not , Shame really as they are a really fast running snare Thanks everyone for your input Volpe Quote Link to post
Venum 10
Got G.W's DVD's, one for Fox, one for rabbit and one for mink, sure there not the best of quality though. Got a few of the warreners too ;D Venum Theres two for rabbits fox snaring and long netting as well Didn't know that, good to hear, any ideas where to find them? Would love to see the one on gate netting too!! Happy days Volpe, are you able to get a picture up for the new and improved tealer? What do you think of the 'lock' too? All the best, Venum Edited March 15, 2014 by Venum Quote Link to post
volpe 21
Hi venum the locks not bad reminds me of one I used when I was a teenager it's nice and fast my only other criticism is that the biggest loop you can make with it is 9 inches which in my opinion is a bit neat I like at least a 10 inch loop 10 inches high all in all good idea just poorly put together 1 Quote Link to post
MR TEA POT 1,287
Ghost tealers giving a setting height of 10inches? 1 Quote Link to post

volpe 21
What length of tealer is that tpot ? as the one that ive got is only fifteen and a half inches long, yours by your own tape is 19 inches long and thats with a bit in the ground so it must be a twenty inch tealer also you have a different lock on, yours is a glenn waters lock and the biggest loop i can get is 9 inches so yeah you can set that snare 10 inches get one from Bushwear and try it Quote Link to post
heritage 202
Pk.., the ghost Tealer isn't just a Tealer, its actually a complete snare / Tealer unit and has several advantages over your standard wire. Increased strength and less chance of chew outs... Lower profile / less visible... Lighter... Easier to place / set & carry... Reduced risk of entanglement ... Simpler to stake / replace or switch anchors... Less materials used during manufacture... Simpler un complicated design and less time consuming.... Only personal opinion but for me this type of set up is the way forward as far as fox wires go. Atb 1 Quote Link to post
