volpe 21
hi guys i bought some snares off a well know internet shop which were advertised as fox ghost snares with the tealer already built in my problem is when you set them I can only get the bottom of the loop 7-8 inches off the ground and that's on fairly solid ground don't know what it would be like in soft ground as i would have to push the tealer in even further,(this is on a open run through the middle of a field) have the company made these with too short a tealer or am i a complete idiot and setting theses wrong and there's a trick to this cheers Volpe Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
Sounds like whoever made/sold the 'ghost' snares has no idea how to make/use them. It is a common mistake to set them too low or with too small a loop, a lot of shop bought wires fall into this category Can they be extended or have the tealers replaced? Quote Link to post
