beast 1,884 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Share Posted March 11, 2014 (edited) www.naturapet.com/system/resources/.../H3-2_Amino_Acids.pdf interesting article i found earlier, and written simply enough that even a non-scientific mind like mine can understand it! highlights the importance of getting a diet rich in animal proteins, not cereal/soya etc. the article only deals with proteins, but there is some parallel with other nutrients and the fact that dogs are unable to get all their requirements easily from a vegetable-based diet. i dont think anybody on this forum feeds a vegetarian diet, but be aware if you use dry feeds, and check they are not based too heavily on the cereal ingredients Edited March 11, 2014 by beast Quote Link to post Share on other sites
