The Malaysian government are seeking the advice of Kate and Gerry McCann because of their expertise at hiding things in the sea

I think its a cover up and it got blasted out the sky. Especially after watching that flight path change and then a smaller plane appeared behind it - which also disappeard the same time the passenger plane did.

if you watch closer you will see another small plane to the left of the passenger plane vanishes before that does and then as you say the smaller one behind it then vanishes too. this maybe because they for some reason dropped bellow the radar threshold of 10.000 feet

And now reports of some thing burning in the sky.. Im not one for conspiracies, but here goes... Insider/assain(s) on board take every ones phone and I.D , does deed and skips out the window with a `chute, then military vaporize the plane and all evidence.

Why isn't that being done though? Been a couple of days, surely it wouldn't take that long to triangulate their location to the nearest masts!

It all just seems odd, smart phones have a crap battery life so 4 days later and they're still ringing seems weird to me.

I'm with Bob on this one, it'll be f***ing Ninjas or something. Gassed everyone on board, took all evidence, jumped out, and jets finished the plane off..

While you would expect that when you hear a ring tone the phone is on and in working order that may not actually be the case - according to one expert.

"That does not mean the phone you are calling is ringing yet," wireless analyst Jeff Kagan told NBC News.

"The network is searching for the phone. First based on where it last was, then it expands. Then if the network can't find the phone, the call terminates."

Apparently even if the phone in question is in airplane mode - or is off or terminally broken - it may still ring on the caller's end, despite there technically being no chance of it being connected.
