delboy_187 902
Hi lads just back from a terrific nights lamping for me it was . First night out with my pup on lamp . Made me proud 3 rabbits lads happy days . Then to my horror I noticed on her back right leg I seen one of her inside toes were swollen not an awful lot but swollen any how . She seems fine walking not holding it up or anything . Would appreciate any advice from fellow hunters cheers
sandymere 8,263
From your description it could be lots of things from knocked up toe to bruise, best advice would be to get advice from some one with more experience.

Country Joe 1,411
If its swollen it could be a knocked up toe, I would have it seen too. my 12 month pup was lame in the front leg, but not badly, had him at the Vets yesterday its not swollen but vet said its soft swelling in one of the toes. vet said to keep him on the leash for a week only let him do his business, then a week of walking on the lead, then give him a run to see if its still bothering him. if yours is a knocked up toe it will need to be rested, Had a Whippet x Greyhound that knocked one up, tried everything from rest to Laser treatment, nothing worked, so Vet removed toe.
