One fox threw itself into the river just short of the far bank after having crept out to the thinnest branch. Another time the terrier went up inside a hollow willow and the fox launched itself over the heads of the lurchers: didn't get too far though: many years ago this happened. Quote Link to post

My friend had a Border that would whine at the sight of the catapult, when it saw a Squirrel it would freak. Proper drawing attention to him and what he was doing. I have a dog that will climb trees to get at them and it has fallen out a couple of times . Quote Link to post

It's funny you should say that because I was watching a litter of cubs playing back last summer and they were playing tag up and down the trunk of a big old beech tree. I also found vixen tucked up inside the center of a fallen beech tree in the snow one winter............................ There was a point were i thought i was going have cut my terrier out with a chain saw . It does go to show that looking up from time to time can make things interesting Quote Link to post
