Nathan1991 25
Good afternoon people, As many of you already know I have been restoring a 40 year old hw35,nude spite the usual snags of a restoration I have noticed that there is slight play at the barrel hinge and although it's only slight at the hinge it's around 2mm at the mussel, I thought it may need a new hinge bolt as it's slightly chewed on the heads, or perhaps new shims either side of the breech. I've even considered giving it a slight tap with a Mallet to nip the end of the cylinder tighter. Any help appreciated guys. ATB Nathan Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
The problem may be the angle in the breach where the locking bit goes needs filing and chiseling out .when you shut the gun the piece of metal that locks the gun dosent go right into the breach area because the point digs in .i will try draw a picture Quote Link to post
