marshman 7,757
Toby/HooverYeh think I would go with something like that,,,,, or what was the one called that was sal/ grey x beddi/ grey,,, was it fly,,,liked the look of that one,,,light frame with a rough coat,,, Was it the one they called the street accident,,, that was supposed to have had a best of 3 match,,,wich it won,,,then another dog came out the back of a van,,and it ran that and won another match on the same day,,,, Then went out lamping rabbits and put a sack full a way,,,,, Could all be legend off course,,,or story's made up years later,,,, but that dog sounded like a cracker.. I've heard many story's and all from men that i trust, but I've got a picture of my father on the field with what turned out to be he's best dog, Charlie Winyatt and Toby , and my dads friend Bill Bruce he owned Toby's litter sister . The two bitches caught three and Toby caught five. My father says he made it look easy and was without doubt the best dog he's seen but one of the best producers as well. 1 Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
Tomo's post is on the money for me, those early dogs, Laddie the accident etc... I do know that one of these famous coursing dogs was a bloody good fox killer (though others may have been?), anyway, thats the one i'd own. Quote Link to post
