Best Scope For 17 Hmr?

I am getting a cz 17hmr soon and just wanting to know what a popular choice( make ,size) is for those who have a 17 hmr.

Mines fitted with a redfield 4-12x40. I use a bigger objective on the .22lr as that's my rabbit lamping gun, 90% of the time the hmr is used for daylight

4-12x50 is about right. If you prefer a fixed mag go for about 8x

I have just got a vortex with fine bdc reticle.have a look at them on the Rifle Craft site.very clear glass for the money and a life time gaurantee thats transferable.

I've got a 6 / 20 x 50 mil dot generic scope on my Savage and must say I like it. It was on the rifle when I purchased it so thought IO would give it a go. I had a Nikko Game king 6 / 24 x 50 ready for the hmr but Like the scope on it so much I have put the Nikko on my CZ 452 .22 Personally think it's all about how you feel about the scope, every eye is different as are we. So long as it's half decent quality then there are lots to choose from. Good luck

Depends on what budget.

I really like the hawke panorama 3-9x40 or 4-12x50 with the half milldot reticle. They have a extreem wide field of view and the half milldot reticle is realy nice.
