banner man 587
banner all our dogs were English bred dogs that could run Ireland like they were running it all there lifes, so I can tell you as seeing it my self plenty of top English dogs were well able to hack it over, comes back to agood dog will run anywhere,as john said myself include many aday never even seen a big rab never mind get a run it was the forley cup winners we wer talking about mucky paws, and iv no dought that there has and is english dogs able to run ireland, the point was if a dog ran in england all his life and ran great but never ran in ireland would it be fair to say it was never tested because it never ran both countrys?? in my view even if it never came to ireland it would still a good dog because it done its job for the owner and i say the same about an irish dog 1 Link to post

There no doubt eng blood has made irish dogs better. Did the irish blood not make the english dogs better since most of them now have some in them has your dog not mostly irish blood in him?? Hears one 20 years ago when most of the lads in ireland were running rough coated dogs it was fcuk them hairy muts they have to be like salukis .Now most of the dogs in ireland are like salukis and the top dog in england are mostly rough coated how is that Link to post
