Continuing from the Mayan thread some photos here of their ancient hunting techniques using homemade traps. (Catty on the kid's back also)

They catch anything they can with these traps one kid told the mrs he had caught six birds that day and his mum was cooking them

One of their hunting dogs, they hunt wild pigs, deer etc

 

The mrs is going back tomorrow and has been invited to join them on a hunt so hopefully we'll have more pics and maybe video...... No promises mind :laugh:

At the moment she is heading a project to help teach the kids things like English, maths, Music etc all for free

 

Me being me soon as I found out they hunt I was telling the Mrs to document it :laugh:

 

These people live a very mixed old and new simple way of life. They are pretty discriminated against and don't even have electricity or running water, good woman my Mrs

Nothing else to use at the time lol I did upgraded to orange boxes from the greengrocers

She's been there for months mate, mushys in denial she's left him, just Humphrey him like the rest of us
