Gate Netting - Advice Please

I know where the hares are on my land, I have the net and I know how to set it. Can you push the hares to the net without a dog? Whats the best way? Does it have to be small fields? Any advice at all would be great

Does the hare us the gateway as an escape route? Walk the field and watch where he goes when spooked

when the beginning of season comes have a look round the field which the quarry is on and watch were it goes....look for runs pop hold in the hedge/wall/fence....depending on where the hare is when you enter the field will affect which way it runs and which escape route it will take
