Huan72 687
Very nice, she has a knack of capturing the animals spirit/personality, which is what makes or breaks an animal portrait.
sandymere 8,263
I used to take commissions when youngster and soon learnt the hard way. She has a talent but the prices are to low, she'll get lots of commissions but spends weeks working and struggle to cover her costs. Better to take her time on a few higher priced commissions and build a business rather than a shackle. I’ve just taken a few commissions as a way to inspire me to get my stuff out of the loft, I'm doing them at cost plus about £1 an hour and the prices are around the same. if I'm still enjoying it after I've finished these the prices will treble. Originals are a different kettle of fish to a prints and prices need to reflect the value.
Ideation 8,216
Yer having looked around we've realised that it's pretty cheap. But I think she wants to get a few out there and get the ball rolling. . . . . If she did get some work coming in, i'd imagine the prices would have to rise.
