Begginers Course

hi I am thinking of going on a deer stalking course for begginers ( 2 people) how much do you think it will cost ( as a wedding present instead of a stag do)

I am 41 should of said novice course ( no experience)

Not heard of a novice course in the field but a few guides will take you stalking for a variety of fees depending where you go .

One of the best ways to get started is to book some hind stalking in the Highlands and get a few days out with a stalker on the hill , you will see a lot of deer and get a good introduction on everything from selection to larder work if the boys think you're keen they will take time to show you the job they do. In my opinion a lot of people get their passion for deer stalking this way..

There is a chap near me south wales, who runs an intro to deer stalking, going through the dsc1 shooting assessment, including simulated stalks and the option of a proper stalk in the evening. Depends on how far you will travel.
