Terriers.   Or Gun Pack   Or Snares.   All three will be more successful.   Or all of the above and shooting on top!

IMO at this time of year to shoot foxes in daylight all depends on how educated your foxes are. Foxes at this time of year will be out and about but to get down wind and call them in successfully wil

So, no lamping, no snares, no dogs and currently no centerfire................... the farmer likes to challenge his foxers eh?   Fieldcraft will make all the difference by the sounds of it, but I t

CZ 452 varmint 16inch ;)

I've just bought the 455 varmint 20" and it's very accurate. Sub MoA in wind at 100m. I know each rifle differs but mine love Hornady V-max and I understand many CZs do as well. Remington wasn't too bad but the Winchesters were shite.

The owner uses hornady in the rifle, gonna also try some cci gamepoint, but it appears everyone likes the hornady rounds. I really wanted the laminate thumbhole but found this setup at a steal so couldn't refuse to be honest. The scope alone cost £300 and its new so well worth £400 for everyrhing ;)

Yeah, that's exactly why I went for the 455 for the TH stock. I just bolted on a Hawke Varmint SF but I'll be looking to upgrade when/if I'm shooting much beyond 100m.

Also might possibly buy a 16" .22 barrel for it as the 455 has interchangeable barrels but I'll probably just end up buying a second hand 452 and save buggering about.

I have a 1977 brno mod 2 .22lr and its hard to beat. Only downfall with mine it has a 24" barrel and being short I always knock it especially when I have the mod on. Hawke scopes are great I have a mk1 eclipse on the .22lr and its never lost zero. Really highly rate hawke scopes mate
