I Can Hardly F**king Believe I'm Gonna Do This ....!

Recommended Posts

This is gonna be Rank! Absolutely f**king minging! I may well, at some point throw up!

Anyone who's had their finger on my pulse lately may have got the indication that Pete's up to something.

Damn right I am. I'm going to War! And, in preparation for my war, I've been buying things and making things. Getting all my shit sorted out so I'm ready.

All I really need now is a suitable bait. So, I've been swatting up on this shit. It wants to contain flesh, obviously. But, I don't want to end up with putrid, dripping shit inside a few days!

So, I asked the septics. Pointing out that much of their own work is done in freezing Winter conditions. I asked about preservatives.

And, boy; Did I get my answer!

It seems I've got to get myself a gallon bucket of hacked up dead stuff and leave it out in the sun for a few days.

Then, I stir in some chemicals and stick it away for a couple of weeks. Stirring it now and then (What a f**king treat to look forward to opening that bucket and going Near this shit will be! :bad:)

Then comes the real clincher! I'll have several gallons of this vile shit. Scent gland lure and all sorts have to have gone in there. It'll stink like a corpse farting in ye mouth!

And I have to ladle it out and put it in f**king jars!!! And ye just Know it's gonna get on me! FFS!

God all f**king mighty! The things I get myself into!

Rahaha, sounds a right treat, glad I wont be able to smell it from over here...?!!

I was listening to Clint Locklear the other night, and he was saying that once he got a catch, he used the dirt from the set (Because of the scents left) and spead them around his other sets to trigger interest, something I want to eventually try, could well beat the trauma of brewing up a few gallons of rancid :hmm:

What chemicals are you goin to use?

Keep smiling,

TC; Fox would be easy. This is a more general formula. I just need something to see me through the near future.

Seemingly; Sodium benzoate is the thing, mate. It's a food preservative. I was also told to add anti freeze. But, on consideration, this is probably another thing mean't for freezing winters ....? Okay. I've just gone back and asked about this.

Aside from that? I intend to chuck in some species specific attractants. I'll also be employing scent lure. A particularly 'Loud' one, said to bring shit in from some distance.

Quite funny, actually! :D If you knew Phil', the landlady of my local, where I get my mail delivered? She really is the loveliest woman. So sweet and gentle.

And she was behind the bar, sat in front of me, when I opened the package containing this bottle of lure. Of course, I was curious as all hell. But, I knew Not to open it and Inhale the shit!

No. I simply unscrewed the lid. Whipped it off and put it back on again.

Too late! In that split second, the genie made his bid for freedom, in the form of a noxious, brown cloud. Through which I could just barely make out Phil'. Bent over double. Clutching at her face. As she whined a litany of:

"Oh, Jeeeesus Christ! Jeeeeeeeesuss Christ!!!!! "

I've honestly never heard Phil' talk like that before! :D

I've just sat there, shaking my head, trying to clear it, as my eyes streamed. Apparently, this stuff's heavy on the Skunk!

Eddie; Why on earth do ye f**k around trying to make scent lures which are easily available from US, tenner a pop?

I've got stuff here, could strip paint at fifty yards. F**k bothering to Make that sort of thing! Ye can't say it's for fun. Because there's simply no 'fun' in any aspect of this shit.

Other than, maybe, admiring ye little row of bottles, on the shelf? Open one though, and all 'fun' bets are off!

No. This bait is to be just that. I'll be needing, and using, a fair old whack of it. But, the bottles I have, to go in or near it? I just buy those. They'll mostly out last me.

Born Hunter: I'll be targeting predatory pests. This is the circling the wagons scenario.

Maybe i've lost the plot, or just have too much time on my hands Pete! I don't know, just like making my own stuff, be it fox snares, bait or trap swivels e.t.c!

Seem to spend more time in the shed than the house lately! Besides, i don't even notice the smell any more, can't say the same about her indoors though!:-)
