volvine 0
Hi I have a 10 month old patterdale bitch that is doing really well in great health and happy she came into heat mid December and I am 99.9% sure nothing ever got to her as I always kept my coker spaniel separate from her during this time (he has since been spayed). She has now developed a pair of tits (not massive but bigger than they should be) that produce milk although she does not have a belly at all. So my question is is this a phantom pregnancy as she would have already had the pups if anything had got to her wouldn't she? Any advise would be grateful. Quote Link to post

man o kent 269
My old patt bitch has had this a couple of times, nesting, restless and lactating. She even carried a toy round as a surrogate puppy for a while! We just stuck to her normal routine and it passed after a few weeks. Hopes this helps Quote Link to post
andy26 618
Yeah I am hoping it passes sooner rather than later as I could do with her been on her feet Av asked a few lads about it and got some stuff in to try and take her milk away so it look like a waiting game Quote Link to post
