fireman 11,033
The best thing about London and all other cities is it keeps millions of people out of the countryside ,they get my vote .
gnasher16 30,589
I like driving in London..........it's quite tame compared to some of the city's I've driven in...... Italy , now they are fekin nuts there, 90% of cars have dents in them Yeh I was thinking of Italy.....;-) I drove round that nutty roundabout at the Arc di Triomphe in Paris a few years ago i wanted the 4th exit according to the ol satnav.......i shit it and jumped off at the first ....what a mad gaff that is !! Was going to say about that roundabout mate, mental.. 7 lanes of driving by horn lol...... Was there with my brother his wife and my missus one time, one of those weird bikes where the bloke lays flat and pedals ( don't know what they're called, f*****g stupid looking things)... Well it approached the roundabout beside us, we stopped, the mad French cyclist just went for it... Loads of horns lol... My sister in law nonchantly said " he's dead" lol You want to try crossing it as a pedestrian then .......I took the ol woman there years ago trying to impress her shopping along the Champs Alysees whatever its called we got to the end i said lets go and see that Arc di Triomphe thing in the middle of the roundabout......trying to cross all them lanes of traffic with cars beeping at me screaming names out their windows, nearly breaking my neck darting round traffic trying to stay alive............all while im trying to look cool and sophisticated ....what a dick !

It was valentines weekend ( pure luck honest lol).. She's in the hotel room, putting makeup on etc on the first morning, I'm ready, and getting bored... " I'm gonna go for a quick walk"... So off I go, like I know my way around the back streets of Paris... Ffs, I was lost with in 10mins and I was never more than a couple of hundred yards from the little hotel, I was desperately trying to remember if gauche was left or droit ( I only had a failed Gcse to go on lol)... The missus thought I'd been murdered or something ( they over react a touch woman eh)... Well 2 1/2 hors later I casually stroll into reception like nothing had happened lol.... The rose I offered was scant consolation lol

socks 32,253
The worst place I have ever driven around is Nairobi ... The outskirts are lawless with no police no road signs and no apparent care of what you do on the road as long as you make it to your destination alive .... We were briefed when we first got there that their favourite ambush is for one fella to lay in the road as if he has been knocked down ... When you stop to see what's up his mates will drag you out the car and rob you if your lucky ... More than likely you will be shot or mchetied to death ... The Kenyan police answer to us was do not stop drive over them ... If they are genuinely dead it don't matter ... If they were attempting to rob you and kill them driving over them still don't matter ...........
dare 1,103
On my way to work now in lewisham. Without fail ill spot some nutter walking down the road talking to themself. For some reason they seem attracted to me lol. Probably because the more I know I probably shouldn't look at something the more I find myself watching. They must see it as an invite to come near me. They jumped out the jungle and shoved a gun to the window, so the passenger took a pistol from under his laptop, and shot the f****r through the door glass. The driver then put his foot down and run the "dead " f****r over.

RubyTex 1,957
My parents go at least once a year usually at Christmas, as does my brother and his bird. I just don't see the fascination, been a couple of times, too many people for me I reckon. I'm quite happy staying in a small town where it takes 20 minutes to cycle from one side to the other

keepdiggin 9,560
I was 17 driving in middle of Accra, that was a bit mad not just other cars on the road but having to watch people who are selling random shit at the side of the road and crossing traffic like it was nothing. Good experience though.
