Bosun11 537
It's only gonna get worse... Does anyone expect anything different? But as Dogginlad said earlier, keep your real workers close. Treasure them, they are the/our future... Quote Link to post

I seen a very striking woman waking two very smart smooth chocolates (I still prefer liver!) yesterday. They did look smart in their matching red harnesses and coupling chain. She looked proud as punch to be walking them. I very much doubt they'll ever see work but what they are bred to do will be the talk of the Bridge Club on Fridays. Just reading your words CG made me think, well what harm is there in that. Far worse IMO to breed from failed workers and peddle them out as good stock... Quote Link to post
Richard Warwick 50
look what i found..... http://www.dragondriving.co.uk/puppiesforsale-62134.html  !!! f****n brilliant, I choked on my tea then! i've heard it all nowBedlington X would make a "great lap dog" i wish i could find a proper working old style bedlington, not gonna be around much longer! I thought there are quite a few good bedlingtons down your way, a member on here 'swanseajack' I think, wrote articles in the terrier section on this site about them, not sure how accurate those threads etc were, never been much of a bedlington fan, but they're starting to interest me i know of a lad with a bedlington, in tSwansea, not sure what kind of work he does with it though, but i do know that a man in swansea used to breed a good strain, but he lives in Devon now Quote Link to post
jeemes 4,484
It's the ones that are breeding failed workers we need to worry about. Spot on with that. I had used to have a bitch that had plenty of scarring but turned out to be useless as an earth dog,yet a well know terrier man (in the Terriermen book) wanted to buy her to put to his so called strain, even after i told him she would not stay. This man sells dogs all over the world..He didnt get the bitch. No one did,she stayed with me. Quote Link to post
