Ruger 10/22 Takedown 22 Lr

Recommended Posts

My mate who's an RFD has been using one to see what they're like. Apparently repeated taking the gun apart can make the fit looser, but there is a nut that can be tightened to fix this.

It doesn't have to be rezeroed each time and it's a great bit of kit, but I think the novelty would soon wear off and it would just be treated like a normal 10/22. My 10/22 has a folding stock, and I can't remember the last time I folded it.

how accurate is it after you put it back together does it need to be zero d

He's not had any problems up to now but scope mounts on the action and the barrel removes. Constantly removing the barrel is burely going to effect the zero at some point?

Walshie said it can come loose and the tightening of the nuts + time could lead to innaccuracy.

My mate has just bought one, i dont think he's used it yet but what i dont like about it is that where it joins together there is a small gap which dont look right.

Thats only my opinion.

I think it's a nice gun but it's more expensive than a standard 10/22, and doesn't do anything different.
