it is funny how opinions on dogs can vary, from time to time you hear stories about a certain dog and its capabilities, be it terrier, spaniel, lurcher or hound is irrelivent, yet when you see the dog work in the flesh it may not make you raise an eyebrow, or it it does raise an eyebrow its cause your left scratching your head wondering what the f**k was all the talk about, this does is nothing but alright..... or maybe even poor from some of my own experiences.

 

doctors differ patients die, if im out 5/6 days/nights a week really working a dog a very short time and you know what you have, an average dog with enough experience and fieldcraft will do pretty ok in alot of mens eyes. you get back what you put in and possibly some of the best dogs about will never get a chance to shine as the work and effort wont be put into them......

Ive yet to hear of one of these wonder dogs without an owner who,s ego is any less wondrous.To many read into all the hype and are then never suited with their own mutts ability,mutts that are often more reliable than their illustrious over hyped mongrel cousins.Wonder dogs are for ego,s,a workmanlike hunting companion is as wonderful as it ever needs to be,for most?.

No matter what the lines are even if you breed the best two dogs in the world some pups will still be crap, lets take ftch springer spanielsfor an example how many times have you seen ftch to ftch bred pups that wont even make a shooting dog? loads of times some times gene pools just don't mix in short old teds dog down the road gets out and shags your bitch has every chance of making good dog!! proven worker are the best way forward but that is no sure thing!!!! cloning must be the way forward lol

There's a few wonder dogs out there as we all know and there's men out there that are completely kennel blind and still charge the same money for there pups
