Fancy bluing my 97 for me?

no problem lol was arse clenching though while rusting before my very eyes whats all that about was running round like blue arse fly before it disinterested before my eyes

Its firing all over on consistancy now you wouldn't believe between 30 yes 30!!!! Ft lbs and 7 ft bs wierd eh thaught was chrono but ultra tests at 10.5 every time ????

Stripped down and itching my head as type this any ideas ?

Diesiling like mad too only used lt7 greese no oil at all ???

did the tx200 turn out consistent?
did you clean the barrel after you reblued it? might have got rust in the barrel.?
is the piston and everything all polished decent, or is it rusty inside?

seals ok? spring ok? did you degrease everything ?

does the blue get in the barrel yeah, what if it clogs up inside.?!

Tx was consistant as hell stayed in 11.4s

yea all done by the book im wondering if its a dodgy piston seal only thing can be really everything else is fine

Yea me neither think il get 1 ordered today.

strange such jumps in consistancy but still putting pellet in same hole??

Oh well at least I get to strip it down again lol

Spring looks fine has welsh willy kit in with delrin top hat , guide , preload

I removed the pre loads I added .

piston and tube now sparkling

breech seal looks fine

surly its the piston seal

Chambers are out of stock had a ring round and sorced a genuine one so will get it pivked up and in see how that affects it.

rifling looks fine had good look today

all fitted and sat at a nice consistent 7.5 so will put few shots through and pre load up to power

Think it was diesiling badly hense te huge power readings

all cleaned up and much beter now

dont know what piston seal was fitted before but was pants replacement was standard wheirach one and breech also genu

Great stuff ellis its a awsum rifle that tx so smooth to shoot

 

well still tinkering with whierach trying to get it shooting nice its still a bit twangy and under power but consistent wise its setting down.

hope can get it something like as off up to the farm tomorrow if not will have to take the ultra

The trigger needs attention so will be getting looked at

And the stock will be getting a tru oil but want to keep the colour just bit of a smoother finish!

So plenty more to follow !
