lucky 578
There's a saying "you get what you pay for" unfortunately in the working dog world it usually means the more you pay the the bigger the piece of shite you get lol. 6 Quote Link to post
mule1943 291
would never pay that for a dog remember when you could get a good car for that money Quote Link to post
s.e.s.k.u 1,893
Crazy prices. .BUT most lads serious about digging have friends with dogs and pups aren't born for money. ...They breed for the right reasons ... who pays these silly prices? 1 Quote Link to post
legacy2013 52
There was a patterdale x lakeland on preloved other day was a pet and they were asking 450 Quote Link to post
Al rounder 12
This is what happens when the kennel club get their greedy hands on working breeds. They put designer labels on them and sell them for a fortune. Quote Link to post
Tozer 385
It is a minefield buying a jack russell these days. The parsons and 'miniature' label has made breeding a lot worse. Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
JMHO but I have NEVER heard any man who's serious about working white terriers in the proper way use the word "Parson". When I see an add for "working bred" terriers and see the word Parson in the same add it's like seeing an add that says "Sports car for sale, has no engine." 9 Quote Link to post
Irishman 117
I agree.. Parson for show Quote Link to post
Irishman 117
Well did you have a good season Neil? Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Thank for asking but no, one of the worst I've ever had. Terriers worked well but lack of quarry. Finished up last week and the last few weeks seen some good terrier work which sort of compensated for a bad season. I've been telling folk I prefare quality over quantity, and that's my excuse, LOL.
