Night Vision With Lamping

hi all has any of you guys tried using hand held nv gear to spot and walk up on lamp shy rabbits if so what was the outcome i am going to give it a bash tonight i will have the dog and lamp my pal will have my nv gear spotting for me

Ive tried it when bunny,s become to lamp shy,trying to get the odds in my favour,jury,s still out.

On this spot they are shy with a filter on the lamp so it should come in handy i hope

It helps in locating them gafer,its then the usual bushcraft to get the mutts in contact.

Sounds like educated rabbits, that know the lamp spells danger, have you been lamping them too often, or have you lampers on your ground?

if the hedge has burys, maybe best ferreting it.

Do you spot much other wildlife with it? Just curious. I'd love to try one but I'm too mean to buy one until I know just how good it is.

no mate its my pals land and when i pass it to get to mine its like black pool lol its not kept and everyone and there granny goes on

its my pals land this is the 2nd time i have been on with the lamp with him and i go past it to get to mine and there is all ways lampers on its not kept so its free rane it was hard work getting just the one last night

Be better looking for other ground imo, cant see NV being any good for dog work either.

night vision would have its uses for other quarry but i wouldnt use it for rabbits tbh
