paulus 26
vhd perhaps VHD, however, is often a very swift and sudden killer, giving little warning. Rabbits may die without showing any symptoms at all. Some bleeding from the nose, mouth and rectum is sometimes seen. Quote Link to post

fitchet 788
It could be through constantly being soaked and shivering there food off I've caught a few lately that weren't even worth feeding to the ferrets. A lot of warrens near me are still totally flooded and I've noticed there's more above ground in the day. Caught one yesterday that was heavy with mixy but I haven't seen any signs of it on this land all year. Quote Link to post
Nick3439 83
Could the water have flooded some of the tunnels drowning some/trapping others underground? Quote Link to post

FERRETBOY 680
Other day I went ferreting at a place I saw healthy numbers of rabbits. When I ferreted this place it was a different story though. Outside the warren I noticed 3 dead rabbits that had been eaten to the bone by buzzards all within 10 yards of each other. I wonder what caused this? One rabbit did bolt from the hedge but the same rabbit didn't head to the warren for safety but headed over a field instead. Why didn't it hop into a hole? I caught the same rabbit and it was also bony. We have a bigger problem though, at the same place they are chucking up a few hundred houses and ever increasing the boundary's of council estates. Its f***ing sickening, they do this to house even more immigrant's and benefit scrounging scum bags. This is ok by the government etc. but then these same c**ts ban aspects of hunting because its a blood sport but don't care what habitat they destroy as long as they are lining their pockets. The remaining wildlife that has had to move to find new habitat has to compete with existing animals for food etc and when the farmer see's more rabbits than normal he has to protect his crops by shooting or poisoning the poor things. 1 Quote Link to post
