WILF 46,981
Used to be a must have when I used go to the Deli in Roman Road on a Saturday morning with my pop. Can't beat it cold in a sandwhich with English Mustard.

skycat 6,173
Used to be a real delicacy: pressed tongue, and very delicious, you could buy it tinned, though I don't know as I'd fancy it from your photo
Tiercel 6,986
Love it, sliced in sarnies with english mustard. Much prefer ox tongue to pigs tongue though. Pigs tongue is sold as lunch tongue. TC

Ossie n Arch 1,682
My Mum used to do a Ox tonuge every Christmas. Boil it for a few hours, let it cool, peel off the outer skin, press it into a pudding bowl wedged under the kitchen cupboards with bean tins, tip it out when it set and slice it. Lovely.
