Malt 379
Quite windy here in the extreme west, nothing like we've had over the last few weeks though. Just a bit blowier than normal!
OldTrapCollector 377
A storm or a low pressure system? Over 64 knots of wind? Rubbish ... And you scoff at the Met Office facilities ... ? try ECMWF (google it) or perhaps you should look at solar flare predictions. The information is there for all to use if you look for it and know how to interpret it

Tiercel 6,986
Do you mean this one? Not a lot in it to be honest. TC this storm is going to hit your neck of the woods, also skimming south west and ireland are gonna cop it big time, thanks for your interest TC... Right, I will stuck my neck out here and say that the winds will not excede gusts of 45mph anywhere in the country over the next week. Tuesday will be the highest winds with an average wind speed of 25-30mph at mid day, decreasing towards the evening. A band of rain will cover the whole of the country thursday am with 20mph winds clearing towards the evning although the midlands could have rain all day. Friday a col will develope over the country which will lead to high pressure developing with the barometer hitting 1020mb. Next week end will be dry and calm with frosts for most of the country with a little rain on the west coast of scotland on sunday evening. Lets see how far out I am. TC Well I don't think I done too bad for a first go? Closer than Weather action thats for sure TC
