jigsaw 11,865
Only the 2 jigsaw, hardly worth the effort cracking read pal. As for the tarpaulin debate lol. Even if it did work, it's going to be f*****g stinking of goat, can't see you using it twice. I'd butcher it as much as I could while gutting it. Head off, must weigh a good bit. Even if you do boil the brains for the dogs, is it worth the weight? Hocks off and front legs below the elbow, them hooves must weigh a bit too. Back legs cut off, in a havosack the rest rope round it and drag it. It would be a lot lighter. im picturinf leavingthe tarpaulin in the farm yard,we get there and take it up with us folded small and neat, then we shoot and place said victim on tarpaulin and pull away down to yard again, take goat, lob it into the back of the van.Use the yard hose to wash down and put away again till the next day we return.I dont boil anything for the dogs baw,all raw and bloody.we do at times cut the front legs off but up to this point we always kept the back legs on to have as the grasping area to pull.really I dont think the big billies would fit in a haversack plus the thoughts of them ticks and keds walking up my back and into me arse does not fill me with a warm happy feeling,

unlacedgecko 1,466
Maybe skin and butcher them in the field, then wrap the joints in plastic bags and put them in a rucksack?
baw 4,360
Just drag the f***ing thing and man up they goats are living with parasites mate, no wonder you break brushes scrubbing the yard mate lol. I think Pete's tarpaulin is your best bet if you can leave it at the farm.
jigsaw 11,865
lol baw,i am dragging the cnuts for the last 4 years, man up id rather be a bitch.you should try 3 hrs of dragging these yokes when your on your own,I have this habit of getting carried away when I shoot,i see a herd of 20-40 and then I get shooting, and I drop the first and in seconds Im done and I realise I have shot 3 all together and I refuse to waste any so I get myself into a state by dragging the lot down, drag one 100 yards, then you go back for the second and then you go back get the third and then you go back again to get the gun, lol.so for every 100 yards you cover you have to do 400 yards.hows that for maning up .I know........i need assessing lol..
