Outlaw Pete 2,224
Jigs; Half barrel's good thinking. But; It'll want to snag on and butt up against every root and stone, mate. Tarp' would retain the natural fluidity of the carcass, see? It'd flow more naturally. Washing over the terrain, more than bumping and catching on it. And, while, I fully admit, this is just keyboard bound considering ~ the idea came to me as I remembered trying to drag a large carcass, cross country myself. I'd say it should be worth a go. Canvas tarp' is incredibly strong and resilient stuff. It'd be easier carried out there, rolled up and slung across ye lads broad, young shoulders. A sheet less than six foot square would be more than ample, and weigh nothing much. Got to be better than trundling around with a blue beetle in tow? And think of how half a blue barrel would sound, each time it touched an object, during the stalk. Not trying to insist on my notion, mate. But, having dragged shit myself? It's what I'd go with, next time.
