not looking for an arguement....... but you know me...... but i find that ply is better than osb, even when treated it does rot, its usually the bottom as it is in constant contact with damp ground that goes first...... and not to keen on felt either, a proper cnut for red mite

. I agree with you with the felt.....them red mites love the stuff..clear plastic sheeting is good if not got tin sheets.....also a small tarp wich can be easly removed if it's the sort with brass eyelets .....

As for osb bord I find if you leav a little gap so it's not touching the floor directly and is sealed at the edges it normally lasts awhile .....I no a lad who built a shed out of osb I laffed at him and said it would last a year or two at most........sheds been standing now for about 5 year..

only problem with the clear plastic is cooks the birds when the sun is out, need lots of ventilation in the pens

Listen uk just because some one has different opinions from you don't make it wrong....and just cause you no about chickens don't mean you have to be f***ing rude....and no I wouldn't make a carpenter as I have tried so settled for Been a plumber..
